Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 18, 2026
AESSA respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what data we collect through our website www.aessa.net, how we use and store it, and your rights regarding it.
Who we are
AESSA is a financial and technology advisory firm based in Gaziantep, Türkiye, serving clients across Türkiye, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Syria and Jordan. For privacy-related questions, contact info@aessa.net.
Data we collect
We only collect data you provide yourself through our website forms — never through any means without your active participation. Consultation request form (Contact page): name, email, phone (optional), company (optional), service type, and your message. E-invoicing readiness assessment tool: name, company, role (optional), email, phone and city (optional), and a summary of your answers. In both cases, we automatically log your IP address and the page the request was sent from, for security purposes (abuse prevention) only.
Training skills-assessment tool
The finance and accounting skills-assessment tool for training participants runs entirely in your browser and sends no data to our servers. Your answers are saved temporarily on your own device only, so you can resume later, and sharing your result with your trainer is done manually by you.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter through the site footer, we store only your email address (no other data) to send you our articles and regulatory updates. We do not share this email with any third party. You may ask to be removed from the list at any time by emailing info@aessa.net.
How we use your data
We use the data you submit solely to respond to your request or follow up on the result you asked for, and never for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
Where your data is stored and for how long
A backup copy of your submission is stored in a file on our server, outside the path visitors can access, and is also sent as an email to info@aessa.net. We retain this data for 24 months from your last contact with us, unless continuing to serve you requires longer, or you ask us to delete it sooner.
Cookies and analytics
We use Meta Pixel (from Meta/Facebook) on our main marketing pages and readiness assessment tool to measure ad performance, understand how visitors reach us, and retarget them with our ads on Facebook and Instagram. This tool places a cookie on your device and shares your website usage data with Meta under Meta's own privacy policy. You can control this tracking through the ad settings in your Facebook account, or through your browser settings to block third-party cookies.
Data sharing
We do not sell your data or share it with any third party for marketing purposes. We may share the minimum necessary data with technical service providers we rely on to run the website (such as our hosting provider), only to the extent needed to deliver the service.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data held by us, or withdraw consent to marketing contact, by emailing info@aessa.net. We will respond within a reasonable period, not exceeding 30 days.
Data security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including encrypting the connection to our website (HTTPS) and storing submission backups outside the website's public path so they cannot be accessed directly over the internet.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The date of the most recent update appears at the top of this page.
